Criminal Justice (As Taught By A Criminal) - Period 3 - Monday 04/07
In class today there were puppies.
Well, one puppy with an odd glowy eye, a deaf wolf, and a weetiny fox.
But they were all adorable.
"Good morning kids! Today we are learning about drug sniffing dogs." A beat. "And fox."
Which was totally used by law enforcement officials, shut up.
"Now, I have hidden drugs somewhere in this room and these intrepid animals are going to show you just how incredible their sense of smell is." He looked down at them all, nodding seriously. "Go find the drugs!"
...
They all just sat there, hoping for treats. Except for Max, who started to groom her tail.
"Damn it. I knew I shoulda stolen real ones."

Re: Talk to the animals!
That might have been an answer to the drugs question. Maybe.

Max fell over onto her side, giving a look of 'totally meant to do that' and pawing at the gum.

Much.
Mostly just rolling onto her back for more pets.

A little.
Her focus was just on wiggling on her back happily.
Re: Talk to the animals!
Annette was glad to see the weetiny fox so content; it said much for its owner.
"If I had a toy, we could play."
Re: Talk to the animals!
At the word 'play', Max wriggled and got to her feet bouncing happily and barking.

"Just a second!" Scrambling up, she grabbed a piece of paper and wadded it up into a tight little ball then came back and sat back down on the floor before the wee fox. "Okay, this is all I've got..." hopefully it wasn't stupid. She tossed the paper ball and looked at the fox, brows raised. "Fetch!"
Re: Talk to the animals!
Max ran, slipping a little in her rush to pounce on the ball of paper and savage it like a good little hunter.
