In class today there were puppies.

Well, one puppy with an odd glowy eye, a deaf wolf, and a weetiny fox.

But they were all adorable.

"Good morning kids! Today we are learning about drug sniffing dogs." A beat. "And fox."

Which was totally used by law enforcement officials, shut up.

"Now, I have hidden drugs somewhere in this room and these intrepid animals are going to show you just how incredible their sense of smell is." He looked down at them all, nodding seriously. "Go find the drugs!"

...

They all just sat there, hoping for treats. Except for Max, who started to groom her tail.

"Damn it. I knew I shoulda stolen real ones."

"No," John frowned. He wasn't supposed to talk about saving the world, but he'd totally done it. "I suffered through a musical?"

John bit his lip. He had no idea, but there had been cats in it. "Um...maybe?" Even his hair cringed.

"Where people dressed up like cats?" There, that should cover any confusion. "Like some scary Japanese fantasy of women who purr?"

"They dressed up like cats and hyenas and monkeys," John said, frowning. "It was creepy and I don't like to think about it too much. Tell me that's not your fantasy of women?"

"Who am I to judge," John seemed convinced, really. "So, what's the damage? Movie watching? Detention? Homework?" He was far too relaxed by these options, thinking no one was as evil with their punishments as Anakin.

"...I have baked a cake?" With help. Okay, Andrew did the actual baking while John ate the extra frosting. "Why?"

Deadpool grinned at that. "I accept baked goods for absences that don;t involve the government kidnapping people for nefarious experiments."
