Sam had stopped at J,GOB and the Perk on his way to the library this morning. It was the start of another week already, and he was trying very hard to not think about how they were all one week closer to summer now.

"Just for that I'm stealing another donut," Peter told him. "Besides, not like that's a big deal now."

"Just because you can fly, it doesn't mean people won't still freak if you fall," Sam said. "Just like I don't like thinking about you getting hurt for some reason, even if you can heal yourself. The idea of you getting into trouble, even if you can get yourself out, is scary enough. Or maybe that's just my view."

"You really worry about me that much?" Peter asked.

"Maybe not as much as Nathan does, but yeah, of course I worry," Sam said.

Peter couldn't help but smile at that. "Well, you are an honorary Petrelli. I guess you're allowed."

"I am?" Sam asked, smiling as well.

"Of course," Peter said. "This was all taken care of during that weekend we were all kids. I'm still honoring it though."

"That's very nice of you," Sam said. "You can be an honorary Winchester, although I'm not sure if you'd want to be."

"You're too late," Peter said. "Dean already made me one. Pretty sure you're not allowed to take it back."

"I wouldn't take it back if you want to be," Sam said.

"I was mostly in it for Dean but I guess I can cope with you," Peter teased.

"If you're going to be a Winchester, you're pretty much stuck with me," Sam teased in return.

"Yeah, but you bribe me with donuts," Peter said. "It works out."

"It wasn't a bribe as much as a thank you for all the times you've fed me," Sam explained.
