Library [04/07]

Sam had stopped at J,GOB and the Perk on his way to the library this morning. It was the start of another week already, and he was trying very hard to not think about how they were all one week closer to summer now.

Sam started his day by checking in books, and finishing his coffee.

The library was an all-homework zone for the time being, as Sam studied.

Sam eventually took a break from his homework to check his e-mail.

The library was closed for lunch to everyone except the librarian, the other aides, and Dean.

Sam was reading, and trying to resist eating any of the donuts in the box on his desk until his regular visitor arrived.

Sam took a slow sweep through the library, to clean before closing up for the day.

Ugh, Monday.

Peter came in at his usual time. "Hey."

"Hey," Sam said brightly. "How's it going?"

"Not bad," Peter said. He handed over a coffee. "You?"

"I'm doing okay," Sam replied, pushing the box of donuts towards Peter.

Peter quirked his eyebrows up. "Donuts? For me?"

"No, they're just here for you to look at," Sam teased. "Yes, for you."

"Awwww." Peter helped himself to a glazed chocolate. "Best friend ever."

"I would have done this sooner if I'd known I'd get that kind of reception," Sam said.

"You really should have," Peter agreed around a mouthful of donut. "So how was your weekend?"

"Kind of boring, but that's how I like my weekends sometimes," Sam said. "I don't mind when nothing crazy happens."

"I hear ya," Peter said. "I celebrated First Contact day with Hoshi. That was about it on my end."

Mondays suck.

... But Ronan's hot. Look! The icon proves it! :D

"First Contact day?" Sam asked. "It's a sign that I spent too much time around Dean this weekend that I almost said that sounds dirty."

"I was not dirty with Hoshi!" Peter said. "Though yeah, sounds like Dan's rubbing off on you. Also not dirty."

"I didn't specifically say you were dirty with her," Sam said, laughing more. "And I don't even want to be dirty in the same building as Dean, or he might find out about it and hound me like crazy."

Peter pondered this for a moment.

"So," he said, finally, "must be kinda boring for you and Dawn, huh?"

Dean was whistling when he came in and plopped down in his usual seat. "Hey, Sammy. How's it hanging?"

"Good," Sam said, giving Dean a curious, and somewhat wary look. "You're in a good mood."
