After what seemed like far too long without a library shift- probably because it had been, from his point of view- Bridge makes sure to arrive a little early to open the library for the day.

Bridge spends first period rather gleefully scanning in all the returns.

He made his way over to the desk where Bridge was scanning just a little nervously.

"Are you busy?"

"Liir!" Bridge looks up and smiles. "Hi! No. Well, technically speaking, but this is hardly a time-sensitive job and also part of my job is talking to and helping people who come in to the library, of which you are one, so I can put aside this job in favour of that."

He smiled.

"I was actually wondering if you wanted to set up something for our inventions for class," he admitted. "Though I guess a couple more cook books wouldn't go amiss. How are you, incidentally? Were you taken by those things?"

Bridge nods. "I'd love to. And, yeah, I spent about eight months in London," he shrugs, a bit uncomfortably. "Good thing I made a lot of blueprints and stuff for my project, or I might've had some trouble just picking it up and continuing where I'd left off."

"Well, I'm still waiting on a few materials," he admitted, "but as soon as I see Professor Ambrose about them, I should have something for you within the week. Are you, um, are you sure you're comfortable with this?"

"Jen!" he'd seen her in class yesterday, but there hadn't really been time to talk, since, well, class. "Hi!" he's really not sure if he should offer a hug or not. It's probably pretty obvious that he *wants* to, though.

And it's not as if Jen's the type to actively go for a hug, but her posture is just perceptibly more relaxed than normal today to indicate to an observant person that she wouldn't discourage one if it was offered.

"Hey, Bridge," she says. "I didn't get a chance to tell you yesterday that I'm glad you're back safe."

And Bridge is certainly observant, so he takes that as his cue to move forward and give her a hug. "Thanks," he says. "I'm glad to *be* back."

Jen doesn't have a hug icon yet, and really, this one is SO WRONG in the circumstances wraps one arm around him, awkwardly, then the other. "I'm sorry I couldn't come after you myself," she says, and there's a definite touch of guilt in her tone.

Second period is spent gleefully... off at Tactics class.

Third period, and he's gleefully reshelving all the returns from first period.

Sky stopped by for his usual visit, looking around for Bridge as he went to grab books 2 through 4 of Barry Plodder to check out, so that he could have something to read tonight and tomorrow while at work.

"Oh, you know..." Bridge smiles. "Books, classes. Nothing exciting, which is a welcome change every once and a while."

Chris decided to swing by the library and see if maybe he could find a book that would help explain some of the questions Gwynn had asked him this morning.

Plus it had been far too long since he'd talked to Bridge.

"Hey, man, what's going on?"

"Chris!" Bridge says happily, poking his head out from behind the stacks. "Hey!"

[ooc: I swear, I really *am* going out for an hour or so. As soon as I get dressed. At this rate, I might have my socks on by noon. Might.]

There is even more glee during fourth period which Bridge spends just kind of lazing around at the collections desk.

Even the tidying up for closing during fifth period is gleeful. It's a gleeful kind of day!
