WELCOME TO THE FANDOM HIGH YEARBOOK
Please help yourself to some coffee, and have a seat. Your editor-in-chief will meet with you personally to discuss why you want to be on yearbook, and specifically what department/position you might be interested in.

Please be patient, and keep things down, as said EIC has suffered a head injury recently, and is recovering.

Rory sits on a table, watching people come in. She has a cup of coffee, though it's significantly larger than the ones on the table, and keeps absently touching the bandage on her forehead.

After Huntzberger leaves (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/175838.html?thread=7079902#t7079902), Rory strides across the room to Marty. She notices his movement, and waves dismissively.

"My head's fine," she says as she walks up. "Had a run-in with a bookcase, lost, the usual." She smiles weakly. "How'd the date go?"

Marty couldn't hide his grin if he tried.

"Yeah. It was good."

Nods to Logan leaving.

"I seem to walk in after all the drama ends in the room. I'm going to be a rotten photographer if that keeps happening. You okay? You need me to shoot somebody in the kneecaps?"

"Nah," Rory says, shaking her head. She reels a little, and grips her forehead. "Ow. Note to self - no sudden movements. But anyway, that was just...an obnoxious jerk who won't be back. Nothing to worry about."

Marty notices the woozy!Rory.

"You should be sitting down and taking it easy. I heard some blond brat was running around here last night... was he the one that caused the whole bookcase thing?"

"That's what Logan says," Rory replies, settling into a chair. "I didn't actually see. One second, I'm sliding across the floor - wet shoes because of Parker's hose, y'know - and the next thing I know, I'm waking up in the clinic with Logan and the Tick and some skeleton staring at me."

Marty hands Rory another cup of coffee because she's a Gilmore damn it! He snickers.

"The skeleton gave me a check up last week. Very weird experience. Which was scarier? Seeing the Tick or the Skeleton dressed up for homecoming?"

"Tick I'm used to," Rory says, accepting the coffee with a lopsided smile. "But seeing a skeleton first thing when you wake up...not the best. I can only imagine how weird it'll be seeing him...her...it dressed up for homecoming."

"I'm thinking that's probably the least weird thing that we'll see at homecoming this weekend. Someone told me there was a rumor going around about killer robots... but then again that happens every time a Connor enters a room."

"Killer robots?" Rory asks, not even changing her tone. "Why doesn't that surprise me? Oh, by the way, I have a double. Don't know if Angela told you."

"Yeah... I heard the rumor going around. Kinda nice to know I'm not the only one. Granted my twin is like fifteen years older but still... an odd experience. We should really document the whole thing as part of the yearbook."

"We should!" Rory exclaims. She abruptly lowers her voice, wincing. "And I didn't even realize that Rob was like...older-you until yesterday."

She shrugs. "I have no idea what my double looks like. For all I know, it's a baby version of me or something."

"I just hope she doesn't share your desire for coffee because between you, her and your Mom the rest of us would have to drink decaf."

A thought hits Marty.

"Hey... the whole doppelganger page can be a 'Separated at Birth?' thing."
