Yearbook Meeting



WELCOME TO THE FANDOM HIGH YEARBOOK
Please help yourself to some coffee, and have a seat. Your editor-in-chief will meet with you personally to discuss why you want to be on yearbook, and specifically what department/position you might be interested in.

Please be patient, and keep things down, as said EIC has suffered a head injury recently, and is recovering.

Rory sits on a table, watching people come in. She has a cup of coffee, though it's significantly larger than the ones on the table, and keeps absently touching the bandage on her forehead.

Allie furrows her brows. Logan seems sincere and she has the vague feeling that Rory isn't being completely honest.

"Logan, you're one of the nicest guys I've met here. How can she think you're scum?"

"I never said that," Rory interjects, frustrated. "I just didn't expect or appreciate his advances."

"Well, couldn't you have just backed away from him?"

"Yes, but the point of the assignment was to communicate in spite of our discomfort. To back away would be to admit defeat," Rory says, her tone slightly less fierce.

Allie shrugs.

"So he didn't force you then?"

"He didn't...rape my mouth or anything," Rory says, scrunching her face at the phrasing. "But he crossed the line. Even the teacher agreed with that."

"No," Rory says immediately. "I pulled away from the kiss, and told him I was dating someone else."

"Did he try to kiss you again after that?"

Regaining some of his good humor, Logan grins at Allie and relaxes a bit. He puts a hand on her shoulder and leans forward to whisper in her ear.

"Well, just between you and me, I think she's a little crazy. And the boyfriend too."

He squeezes her shoulder gently.

Allie feels her cheeks get warm and she smiles at Logan. After the display she just witnessed, she's inclined to agree with him. She nods to indicate this, not wanting to say anything that might be overheard by the others.
