Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Week 5
Today, Inventiontronics was in the Danger Shop. Said Danger Shop looked a lot like a rural 1950's American town. Nice, normal little town, except for that creepy floating dude, and the fact that all the people were robots in various states of disrepair.
The zipperheaded man responsible was standing under the welcome sign, notes in hand, waiting for everyone to gather around.
"Hello, class!" Gosh, he was cheery. "Today, you're going to be repairing the good folks of Milltown. They're all ready and able to tell you how to fix them. Think of it as a walk-through. Ask them whatever questions you need to, they don't biteno matter how angry they look in the icons and are waiting with tools over there."
Glitch pointed over to the main street where six robots, counting the weird floating one, were scattered on steps and porches. Each one had a toolbox sitting near them.
"You can work together, if you like, or work alone. It's up to you. They'll let me know how you did when everyone is finished. Now go on," he started to herd them towards the robot people, "start working!"
[ooc:Wait for the OCD of roboty doom is up!]

Re: After Class (2/4)
"A treat. And yes, there was chicken last Thursday night. I was going to bring you some Friday, but I ended up not having quite enough."
Re: After Class (2/4)
"You don't have to bring me food, but thank you." A beat, and he smiled at him. "Did you like the class?"
Re: After Class (2/4)
"It was interesting," he said. It wasn't a lie. But he wasn't quite sure he could put another word to it. It was...
"I knew him," he said finally. "Nick Chopper, the founder of Milltown. I knew him."
I knew him... and he obviously paid the sculptor very well to get the perpetually amused look off his face and put something dignified there.
Re: After Class (2/4)
"Oh, I forgot."
That might have been a wince, then. "I'm sorry."
Re: After Class (2/4)
"No, it's not-- it's not a bad thing," he tried to get out as quickly as possible. "It's just... it's odd."
He felt as if he'd done something wrong.
"It's real," he said after a moment. "Like you were with the broom. It's the same feeling, I'd think. It's real and until you saw it, you couldn't quite believe it was real."

Re: After Class (2/4)
"It's sort of nice," he said.
Then he realized-
"You do like some of those papay fruit you gave me, right?"
Re: After Class (2/4)
"Yes, of course."
