It was an unusually quiet Anemone that opened the library today, a worried Gulliver trailing behind her.

"That's incredible," Peter said with a smile. "Your home is beautiful." He tilted his head, studying the picture. "Is it a ship or a castle?"

"It's a good description of a government, that," Peter said. "The government should be the people's anchor and protector."

"True enough," Peter agreed. "It's the duty of the ruler to make sure the people are content and protected."

"Protecting through the proper application of the rule of law," Peter corrected, not meaning to sound quite as pompous.

He shook his head and grinned. "Both, please. Err, or one of each. I'm not sure ow one could implement it without all the science this time has so...historical applications might be useful. And I'm sure Miss Next wouldn't mind unless you hurt her precious books? Perhaps?"

Peter coughed. "This is where Willow would scold me for not being around the library enough to notice yet."

"I do have faith in the law, but it's not enough to assume it'll continue to do a good job," he replied. "Fingerprinting can help find the correct suspect when other less technical methods fail."

Peter eyed the pand-puppy-thing with a bit of a smile.

"Well, I'm certain if the Librarian doesn't mind you painting on the books, wy should he mind the ceiling?" he teased.
