Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Week 3
Today, the students would have a very depressed, confused, and generally unsettled teacher.
Glitch's head was on his desk, and there were bits of straw in his hair. On all the desks were small bits of materials. One iron, steel, copper, plastic, Moritanium, and cloth. They were all labeled, too.
He picked his head up just enough to rest it on his chin instead of his forehead and began his lecture just like that.
"There are different materials used in inventions on your desks. Examine them, I guess, and get some ideas for what you'll use in your projects."
There was a huge sigh and he blinked at them slowly.
"If you're going to work with a partner or in a group, let me know after class or in my office tomorrow." A pause. "And if you've got any idea as to how I can get this stuff out of my hair, I'd be glad to hear it."
Another sigh and Glitch lifted his head and let it fall back against his desk, face first, with a loud thunk.
Every once and again, students might notice that he'd pick his head up about an inch or two and let it fall again. The weekend had not been kind to him, and if anyone mentioned crows he might just start to weep softly.
[ooc: OCD ison the way there, being emo.]

Re: After Class (1/21)
A brief pause.
"It was with Andrew. The one in this class."
Re: After Class (1/21)
"So, it was good?"
Re: After Class (1/21)
"It was Friday. Before... things. He said I could take him out sometime."
Re: After Class (1/21)
Maybe he should send for Cain. Not only would it be funny to see him shipped in a crate, but the Tin Man was much better at protection than Glitch was.
Re: After Class (1/21)
"He seemed to have a good time. And I did. He's... warm. And he has a very nice smile."
That he wanted to see more of.
Re: After Class (1/21)
"Nice smiles are good, too. Wouldn't want to date someone with a bad one, right?"
Glitch was floundering. Dating and advice involving dating? Not his area of expertise, and it was very, painfully obvious.
Re: After Class (1/21)
Then he looked away.
"I... it's none of your business. I don't have to bother you with it. I just-- I don't know why I felt like you might like to know. I can go."
Re: After Class (1/21)
"No, really, it's not, I just," words eluded him for a moment. "I'm interested. Well, not interested, but, concerned? No, just-"
He sighed and scratched the back of his neck. A bit of straw was itching against his skin, and it was distracting.
"I don't mind being bothered, is what I mean. The talking is what I've got trouble with."
Re: After Class (1/21)
"Me neither. We don't have to talk."
And it wasn't an apology or any kind of withdrawal. It was just a simple statement. Speech wasn't always necessary.
