Applied Inventiontronics, Period 4 - Week 3

Today, the students would have a very depressed, confused, and generally unsettled teacher.

Glitch's head was on his desk, and there were bits of straw in his hair. On all the desks were small bits of materials. One iron, steel, copper, plastic, Moritanium, and cloth. They were all labeled, too.

He picked his head up just enough to rest it on his chin instead of his forehead and began his lecture just like that.

"There are different materials used in inventions on your desks. Examine them, I guess, and get some ideas for what you'll use in your projects."

There was a huge sigh and he blinked at them slowly.

"If you're going to work with a partner or in a group, let me know after class or in my office tomorrow." A pause. "And if you've got any idea as to how I can get this stuff out of my hair, I'd be glad to hear it."

Another sigh and Glitch lifted his head and let it fall back against his desk, face first, with a loud thunk.

Every once and again, students might notice that he'd pick his head up about an inch or two and let it fall again. The weekend had not been kind to him, and if anyone mentioned crows he might just start to weep softly.

[ooc: OCD is on the way there, being emo.]

Liir Thropp

...at least it's not glitter. You NEVER get rid of glitter.

"Moritanium?" he asked curiously. He was also looking at the straw in his instructor's hair and trying to forget the notebooks upon notebooks of lyrics. As it was, he'd had to run out between classes and get new notebooks.

...which was very very annoying.

Rikku wasn't sure what specifically had happened to their professor, over the weekend, but the headdesking? Wow, could she sympathize.

She tried looking around to see if there was anyone in class whose stuff she had. Stupid freaking klepto fairy.

A.J....was definitely not paying much attention to the lecture, anyway. He might be trying to just completely disappear by slouching down in his chair, trying to forget anything about being blonde, bouncy, and waking up with guys he didn't know.

Bridge hadn't actually done anything terribly embarrassing over the weekend. Except for the part where he'd woken up this morning cuddled with his teammate. THAT was awkward. He'd be taking notes, except with the lecture as short as it is, there's really not a lot to *take* notes on, today.

Again with Sokka and the hand-raising. "What's Moritanium?"

Liir picked up the Moritanium. It had an odd sort of sheen to it, to his eye anyway, and he could feel something within the metal.

He stared at it for the moment.

Mac was there. Examining. Both the things on her desk, and the head-desking teacher.

Anders was poking around with the different materials -- ooooh, shiny.

"Oooh, shiny" was about the extent of his thoughts right now, after all. Hangover, then laughing himself stupid at Wyatt in Mythology . . .

Ed eyed the moritanium warily. The other bits were obvious, and he could reel off the chemical structure as soon as breath. But the new substance, he needed to know more about that.

... Moritanium? Whoa. That was new. And almost interesting enough to make her forget her weekend. She said and poked at it, trying to get a sense of its strength and density and bendy-ness and so on.

A.J. poked at the stuff on his desk. His eyes were still widened in trauma. He...was about fifty million light years away from class right now, that was for sure. Oh, man...

Anathema began studying the various objects and taking notes in her notebook.

Willow was there, still hoping that her weekend had not resulted in a Narnian sex scandal.
