Sam had a careful balancing act going on as he tried to hold on to the stack of books he was carrying and unlock the library at the same time.

Like, there's stuff you'll listen to about her dreams and stuff that he--won't be as tolerant of, y'know?" She eyed him. "Grace may decide not to be a Hunter, and may really need you."
