"Mine or theirs?" Peter joked. Taking a sip of his coffee helped him avoid eye contact, as well as avoid pointing out that thanks to his family's money he never had to worry about paying the bills.
"He seems like that kind of guy. I'd say that Dean would do the same thing, but odds are, if I was in jail, Dean would be sitting next to me," Sam said, laughing. "Did Nathan tell you he made me his TA?"
"Well, now you have," Sam said, snickering. "Of course, I have to get into college first, survive that, and get into law school. It's kind of a long shot."
