"A bit overwhelming isn't it?" Isabel asked from her spot a few trees over.

"Aye," Romeo agreed. "In all my life, I have seen few scenes such as this." And none when he wasn't on Queen Mab.

He gave the girl half a bow and extended his hand. "My name, fair lady, is Romeo Montague, and I come from Verona Beach."

Isabel took his hand and resisted the urge to curtsy, although she did incline her head in a semi-formal manner. "Isabel Evans, from Roswell. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Ah, the desert," Romeo replied. My home was near the ocean. Greetings, Isabel. Has this town been your home for long?"

"The ocean has it's charms," she smiled. "I spend a lot of time on the beach here when it's warmer. As for Fandom? I've been been for two years now. I'll graduate in May."

[Bit of a RL crisis happening, so I'm liable to be slowish for a bit till it gets resolved.]

"Hello there!" Ron said in a friendly type fashion. "Ron Weasley. You one of the new types?"

"I suppose that is so," Romeo said. "My name is Romeo Montague. Students come from England to go to this school?"

"Oh you get all sorts of people coming to this place," Ron replied. "It can be a little bit brain-breaky at first but you generally get used to it. Where are you from, Romeo?"

"Your brain breaks?" Romeo asked, frowning. "I come from Verona Beach, in California."

"Not literally," Ron explained. "It's basically happens whenever something strange occurs around here and you it takes a bit for you to finally catch up with the whole mess in your head."

"You should have gotten some hot chocolate," Katara said with a bright smile. "Hi, I'm Katara. ...unless you don't have hot chocolate in your world. They don't in mine."

"Katara," Romeo greeted with an incline of his head. "I am Romeo. Indeed they have hot chocolate where I am from, yet I failed to obtain any. I thank thee for the suggestion."

"I'm full of suggestions," she said, nodding back. "And Romeo's a nice name. You are new, right?"

"New here," he clarified. "I have walked this earth for 17 weary years. And I thank you, on behalf of my parents."

River was spinning around, dancing to inaudible music, Cassandra in tow. Noticing a new boy with food and drink in his hands, she made a quick and quiet approach from behind him. "Dancing with cookies and punch requires skill," she informed him.

"That depends on the skill with which one dances," Romeo responded, only a bit put off his stride by the quiet approach. "Why, I have seen men who could cut a rug, eat a turkey leg, drink a tankard, and make moon-eyes at a wench, all without a trip or a drop spilled. Though I, myself, do not dance unless teased into it, and then not well." He smiled. "I am Romeo Montague."

"I am River Tam." She gestured at the girl who had just stolen one of his cookies. "Cassandra Cain. We are here to tease you into dancing." She said this solemnly, looking quite determined.

"And good day to you both," Romeo said. "Teasing is a game of tongues, where dancing is a game of feet, and if I use both my tongue and my feet I may become weary."

"New to this place," Romeo agreed, with a slight bow of his head. "My name is Romeo, and yours?"

"I'm Rikku," she said with a grin. "And that's what I meant, new here? 'Cause we get new students every semester and it's so exciting meeting them all, you know? And if nobody's warned you, it's kinda weird here, but it's okay. I mean, it's safe, you know?"
