Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

The weather was thankfully behaving, so it was fairly warm outside as everything was set up for the picnic. Tables and chairs had been set up, and there was plenty of food and drinks, along with nametags, and two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and another listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

[WAIT FOR THE OCD PLEASE. OCD IS UP, HAVE AT IT. This is part one of the picnic, for specifically meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible. *g*]

"You're welcome, and I really would prefer James if you wouldn't mind," Bond said, sure he wouldn't have to resort to anything quite so crass as physical violence over that blasted name...yet. "Driver's Education. And yourself?"

He was fairly sure M was responsible for that detail too. Or Villiers, the little git.

That would most certainly be puppy eyes there. Jimmy had that certain je ne sais quoi. "Hey, I taught that my first time here." Deadpool gave him a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. "Booze. Lots of it. You'll need it when they drive."
doubleohblonde: (Bond is smugly relaxed)

Bond wasn't exactly sure how puppy eyes could be conveyed through a full face mask, and yet, there they were. "However, I'm sure the occasional Jimmy never did any harm," he said, sure he was going to regret it.

"I had rather imagined there might be a need for it." At the very least, it would give a practical lesson on the dangers of drink driving..

Deadpool was very talented at conveying emotions through the mask. Like now and how gleeful he was over the Jimmy.

"If you have someone named Demyx in your class, run. Run a lot and never stop until the horrible trauma of your car being killed by a giant wave goes away."
doubleohblonde: (Bond is a sad panda)

Beset by memories of that poor Aston Martin back in Montenegro, Bond now reached over to pat Deadpool on the shoulder. "Oh, you poor man."

"Don't these people understand that cars can't be treated like that?" Deadpool asked, cursing the any gods nearby. Because he could.
doubleohblonde: (Bond is a carsexual)

"It's criminal, that's what it is," Bond agreed. "Heathens the lot of them."

Deadpool nodded seriously. "And don't let some of the teachers drive either. Some of them are even worse it it."
doubleohblonde: (Bond is not too sure about this)

"Who can you be worse than destroying a car with a wave? Not that I'm entirely sure I want to know."

"Well it wasn't technically their fault, but the car exploded while I was out with them and I'm pretty sure punching someone wasn't enough for that kind of murder attempt, so... I'mma just blame them."
doubleohblonde: (Bond is casual and kinda surly)

"And that's a perfectly reasonable response."

"Thank you! You understand!" He grinned again. "Aww, you're gonna be the best teaching buddy ever!"
doubleohblonde: (Bond is cut up but happy)

Bond smiled back. "I'm glad you think so."

"And I'mma put this out there now, 'cause everyone seems to enjoy doing it... no breaking my knee. Got it?" And yes, he looked terribly serious about potential joint injuries.

"I like it all usable and not broken, and sure only the kids seem to be doing it so far, but I'd rather not start this friendship off on a bad knee breaking note."
doubleohblonde: (Bond is sincere)

doubleohblonde: (Bond has a wry grin and cuts)

"I'm sure it is," Bond replied, grinning.
