Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

The weather was thankfully behaving, so it was fairly warm outside as everything was set up for the picnic. Tables and chairs had been set up, and there was plenty of food and drinks, along with nametags, and two signs: one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and another listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

[WAIT FOR THE OCD PLEASE. OCD IS UP, HAVE AT IT. This is part one of the picnic, for specifically meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here and here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible. *g*]

"Nah," Sora laughed. "I've heard of girls having the name too," he shrugged, blushing only a weee bit about being thought a girl.

"So you're Triela? That's how I say it right?"

"It is," she grinned, grateful that he wasn't upset. She considered him for a moment, "I'm suspecting that 'big brother' doesn't mean the same thing here that it does back home." Because Sora certainly didn't look like he was going to train her to shoot terrorists or anything.

"I think it probably just means someone to guide you around the school and island. You know, explain anything you don't know and stuff."

"Aha!" she laughed. "That actually sounds helpful because, well, this place is weird."

Sora tilted his head thoughtfully for a moment and chuckled. "Yeah, it really can be. If only for the time travel weirdness!" he agreed. "So where are you from Triela?"

"Italy," she said. "This is my first visit to America, actually."

"That's where pizza comes from right?" Sora grinned. Sadly, not being from this world that's all he really knew about it.

Triela blinked at Sora then laughed, "No, actually. I guess you don't travel much?"

"No I do, this is just my first time to this world," he said, grinning more. "Just some of that Fandom weirdness."

Sora paused.

This wasn't going to be easy to explain. "Well you know how earth is a world right? Well I'm from a different one. Different dimension and universe entirely I think." He had to ponder over this now.

"Oh," Triela sounded a bit confused, then her eyes widened. "Like in a science fiction book or something?"

He wasn't sure at all. "There's a lot of that sort of stuff around here though."

"I guess we'll see if I adjust quickly myself or just go crazy." Triela chuckled, "Do you think anyone will be able to tell the difference?"

"That might be useful," she laughed again. "So... big brother. What should I know? Besides that this place is weird."

"Well that one's really important and you shouldn't forget it!" He grinned and thought. "Well, try not to get on the teacher's bad sides, they can be really frightening. Uhmmm stay away from the gremlins, I guess they bite really bad."
