Sam was moving a little slower than normal this morning, thanks to the flag football game yesterday. Of course, the fact that he was carrying a stack of books that was a third of his height might not be helping matters much.

Sam didn't know what else to do but salute Jamie in return. "God bless you too."

Jamie took his book and marched away humming the "Battle Hymn of the Republic".

It seemed like the thing to do.
