Library [12/13]

Bridge makes his way to the library in time to get it ready for opening. There's an extra bounce in his step today. It could be that finals are just around the corner. It could be that today's his anniversary with Xander. It could be both.

"Understandable," Bridge says, his expression solemn. "Before I tell you, though, I need you to- can you prove she asked you?"

Anakin looked more than a little impatient. "How else would I know to ask you, Bridge? I don't come down here for small talk."

"Well, no," Bridge says. "But it's called a secret for a reason, you know? And I wouldn't be very trustworthy if I just told anyone who asked," he adds, telling Anakin the same thing he'd told Kerrigan.

"Do you want a medal or a cookie or something?" Anakin asked scathingly. "I don't have the patience to be yanked around by a teenager on a power trip. I can find out from Kerrigan instead."

Well, it *is* almost lunchtime. But he's already brought cookies of his own, anyway. "I can see that," Bridge says, unperturbed by Anakin's tone. "Eta kooram nah smech."

"No, that's it," Bridge says. "Technically speaking, I suppose it's more of a phrase than a word, but there you go."
