Library [11/19]

Sam had very fond memories of working in the library during high school. When he remembered it was Monday, the day he'd usually had his shift, he headed down to the library and situated himself behind the desk with a small stack of books, and a look that dared anyone to try to get him to leave.

Evelyn just had to check and see if this place was like she remembered it too.

It wasn't. It was bigger. "Good... God." So was one of the library aides, and Evelyn caught herself staring. "Sam Winchester?"

"Evelyn, but lord, it's good to hear that name again. Only Jonathan calls me that now," Evelyn said, laughing. "How are you? I half expected to hear that you and your brother had died stopping some apocalypse or other. It's good to see that you might make old bones yet."

"I'm glad to see that. You are still in the business then? You haven't become a librarian?" Evelyn looked wistfully over at Special Collections. "They still wouldn't let us in there without a good reason, would they." Not really a question, just a tiny bit of a long-held dream.

"Good. There are still so many things out there that have to be kept at bay." Evelyn smiled and said, "Librarian! Amusingly enough. And then archaeologist, just as I always planned. Right now, trying to get digs completed before the Nazis become more of a problem than they are at the moment. There are things they shouldn't get their hands on."

"I hope so, anyway. It's not precisely cheating, if I don't know that they tried to acquire certain objects. At least, no one from any time police have shown up yet to ask me what I'm doing," Evelyn admitted. "Oh! How is Principal Washburn, and your father? And little Grace?"
