Communication - Thursday, Period 5

"As I told you last week, this week's class is about public speaking. Public speaking is an important part of communication in that it trains you to organise your thoughts effectively and allows you practice at speaking in front of people you otherwise wouldn't be comfortable with.

If you haven't prepared your speech and can't get it done by the time it's your turn to speak, then this week you'll be getting a lesson in improvisation. If you have a serious problem with this assignment, I'll be at the back of the room. Feel free to come and speak with me."

For two minutes, Jeff held a speech on the subject of women's breasts that was so disjointed, random and enthusiastic as to be, dare it be said, legendary.

Unfortunately, this speech was simply too legendary for this comment and must hence be left to the imagination.

It really was quite good, though.
