Bridge bounces into the library a few minutes early to get it ready to open.

During fourth period, Bridge gets distracted and ends up absorbed in re-reading the second Adolescent Magicians book. What? Whales are awesome.

Chris stops by before his class to bring back books he has already read and look for some new ones. "Hey, man, how's it going?"

Bridge grabs a scrap of paper to mark his place in the book before closing it and looking up at Chris. "I'm good," he says with a shrug. "How are you? I mean, the weekend was kind of, um..." he waves a hand vaguely.

"Yeah, sorry you got caught up in our family drama," Chris apologizes. "I'm doing pretty well though. Just a lot to think about."
