Bridge bounces into the library a few minutes early to get it ready to open.

First period is spent putting away the stack of returns that were sitting on the counter when he arrived.

Returns done, he's at the collections desk, laptop open and...playing Solitare.

Bridge spends third period going over this week's class notes.

Lunch! Nobody's allowed in unless they work here.

During fourth period, Bridge gets distracted and ends up absorbed in re-reading the second Adolescent Magicians book. What? Whales are awesome.

And during fifth period, there's a lot of general tidying up before getting ready to close for the day.

Gah. Sorry this is so late. Internets were like "ahaha none for you". Am around, but replies may be sporadic since I've got a

needsaparrot and we may decide to actually go out and do things.

Chris stops by before his class to bring back books he has already read and look for some new ones. "Hey, man, how's it going?"

Bridge grabs a scrap of paper to mark his place in the book before closing it and looking up at Chris. "I'm good," he says with a shrug. "How are you? I mean, the weekend was kind of, um..." he waves a hand vaguely.

"Yeah, sorry you got caught up in our family drama," Chris apologizes. "I'm doing pretty well though. Just a lot to think about."

"No need to apologise," Bridge says. "I'm your friend, you asked me for help, so of course I did. It's what I do."

Chris smiles. "Well, it was awkward for all of us," he admits. "But I'm glad you were there so they couldn't lie to us anymore."

Fie! Fie on doing things!
