Aly might have moved her desk to the corner of the room with the best sight lines.

No reason.

There were donuts but the coffee was long gone. Possibly because Aly drank it all.

After class, Kerrigan paused by Study Hall for a moment.

Mostly to steal a donut.

Observing the state of the room ~~and probably other things~~, she couldn't resist commenting "Would you like me to rig up some motion sensors in the hall while you're at it?" as she stole, stole, stole the donut.

Aly smirked up at her. "Nah, can't keep the students from possibly coming in to study," she said. "Thanks though."

She chomped down on the donut. Mmm, sugar. "You sure?" Kerrigan asked, "Just depends on how you work it."

"Tell me about it," Aly replied. "And throw me a doughnut?"

She picked a donut up out of the box. And then took the statement literally.

Hey, Kerrigan threw good.

"I should probably rig something up for some of my students..." she mused.

Luckily Aly was expecting the literalness and snagged the donut out of the air without an issue.

Hey, the woman hung out with Deadpool.

"Just curious to see how your tech differs."

"Got scanners for everything where I come from," Kerrigan said, settling to lean on top of a desk. With another donut. "It's just a matter of wires and know-how."

Aly raised an eyebrow. "Don't you think that lacks a certain artistic something. If it's just a matter of wires?"

She shrugged, taking another bite out of the donut. "If it works and it keeps me from being dead, I'm not gonna ask questions."

"Such a soldier," she teased. "There does need to be an element of style to these things, you know."

"I'll leave the style to the professionals," Kerrigan replied, swallowing the rest of the donut.

Aly raised an eyebrow, breaking off a piece of her donut. "Always?"

"I've seen marines get their heads blown off for trying to look cool," Kerrigan said, eyeing Aly. "Yeah, always."

"Trying to look cool and having style are different things," Aly remarked. "And I'm not talking about when one's under fire." She grinned, looking less serious. "Then what was it I heard on the radio about not trusting that fairy down at the clothes store?"

"Really? Because in my experience, it tends to amount to the same damn thing," Kerrigan muttered, picking up another donut. She deserved some sugar. "One of these days I'm gonna get that fairy..."

Aly smirked, taking another bite of her donut. "I have plenty of style," she pointed out. "And it's not like the fairy had the worst intentions ever."

"She keeps trying to get me shoes," Kerrigan said. She looked a little green about the whole concept.

Aly gave the boots a glance. "Such a terrible fate?"

Kerrigan shot Aly a patented 'what are you, crazy?' look. "I already own shoes. I fail to see why I need any more."

"Nothing wrong with having shoes that fit with clothes a little bit less military," she pointed out. "It doesn't mean you need four inch heels or something."

"Which might be relevant if I needed any other clothes," she said, one eyebrow raised.

"The need could come up. WOuldn't you rather be prepared?" Aly asked.

"I already have fancy clothes," Kerrigan said, crossing her arms. "I faced the fairy down."

Aly burst out laughing at Kerrigan's tone. "Impressive. Really."

"That fairy's a menace," she grumbled.
