When the Ethics class arrived in the Danger Shop, they stepped into an entirely different world.

An incredibly dry, hot one. That smelled really bad.

Anakin waved his hand around the room. "Welcome to the embodiment of gluttony," he said, "the palace of a Hutt."

He concentrated on the controls on the far side of the room, and the simulation sprung to life: dozens of beings drinking, eating, and dancing, with all activity centered around a vile slug of a beast laying on the raised dais at the front of the room.

In a place of honor on the wall was a man, face twisted in a silent scream, encased in silver. Anakin ignored it as he walked past to point at the creature on the dais. "That," he said, nose wrinkling in disgust, "is a Hutt. This particular version was named Jabba, one of the most powerful crime lords in the galaxy." A grim smile turned the corners of his mouth up. "At least until he met my children."

He shook his head. "That is neither here nor there. Today is an interactive experience for you, class. Take a good hard look around. See the effects that gluttony can have."

His eyes went flat. "Touch any of the dancing girls and you'll regret it. That's a promise."

"Just heard stories," Gavin said. "I was too young to go off to see the Hutts when I was on Tatooine. Wasn't allowed. I've seen them, talked to them when I joined up but never had to run."

"I get the feeling this room has a good story," otherwise he didn't think Anakin would've brought them there. "I wonder how the Professor's kids took this one down," John mused, looking around at the full room.

"Luke's never told me that story," Gavin replied, trying to recall if he'd heard it before anyway. "But, if someone took a Hutt down, I'd put credits on him. His sister even more."

"She's that good?" he asked, curiously.

"She intimidates me," Gavin said. "Good at what she does. Good at just about everything. I've only met her briefly during my time with the squadron but she's that good."

"Sounds like her daughter," John replied.

"It really does," Gavin agreed. "I wonder how Jaina's Hutt taking down skills are."

"I bet they're impressive," John said, since everything about Jaina impressed him.

"Should ask her," Gavin said and snickered. "And then tell me."

John looked at him sideways. "Is there a reason you wouldn't ask her yourself?"

He laughed and said, "No but there's other things I have to tease her with first."

John raised an eyebrow, "Such as?"

"I'm with her roommate," Gavin told him. "And she knows me in the future somehow and I think I'm some authority role over her. So, me dating her roommate and, sometimes, sleeping in there weirds her out. So, I have to tease."

That was new information to John. "I can understand any and all parts of that weirding her out," he agreed. "Though I'd probably be careful with the teasing."

"Waking up in boxers in her room worked pretty well," Gavin said. "So far, I haven't hit her limit. My time will come."

John laughed, "When you think you're getting to her limit, let me know. I'll bring the popcorn."

"Always willing to help out," Gavin said. "Think we should talk to the Hutt?"

John grinned, "Absolutely!"
