Ares waited for his class to finish arriving before addressing him. "My name is Ares, and I am, despite the certain claims to the contrary by several members of the student body, a god, the God of War to be precise. So I expect you to listen to me when I tell you this. You are all here for one reason and one reason alone. Fashion."

"Fashion is all about creating a first impression, and as a god, I can tell you that first impressions matter, a lot. You want to appear imposing, grand, sexy. Which is why you're all here, to find has not only the eye, but the attitude for fashion. To create, then pit your creations against each other in the most vicious theatre of war known to man or god."

So he was a little overly dramatic.

"Since I realise that you may not have proper time to prepare, so we're going to start with something simple. Arms, they're great," Naturally, Ares considered it completely appropriate to remove his vest to emphasise his point. "You've got to love that in this this country you all have the right to bare arms. Plus it's a good ice breaker, so I want you all to show off your arms, and maybe little more if you feel like it, while introducing yourself to the class and telling us about why you chose this class."

"And for next week's class I want you all to find and bring in leather clothing. Preferably tight."

"Hey," Lee said when he noticed her. "Made it through the weekend?"

"Oh, yes." Buffy grinned. "And you haven't taken off screaming yet. Promising sign."

"Take a little more than some glitter, knowing that another version of me went here in the past and living with a kid wizard to run me off," he told her with a smile.

Buffy looked surprised. "There was another you here? When? I don't remember that."

"Join the club," he said, shaking his head. "Not sure exactly. Ran into someone else that knew him and thought I was him. Must've been a few years ago, I guess."

"Oh, I've only been here a year." She paused. "It feels longer somehow."

"I didn't really wanna ask too much about...me," he sound and frak, that felt weird. "You're still here, though. Must be something good about this place."

"You might discover he had bad hair," Buffy nodded seriously. She still made sure to shampoo properly. "This place is awesome! There are classes like this, and cheerleaders and other awesome people. And sometimes there are invasions!"

"And bad hair is...bad?" Lee asked. He'd never really thought of his hair as anything more than hair. "Is mine bad?"

Buffy gave Lee a pitying look. This boy didn't know anything, did he? She studied his hair. "No, it's fine, but you might want to experiment a bit with, like, hair gel."

"Hair gel?" Up went Lee's eyebrows. "Why?"

"So you'll look stylish," Buffy explained. She tried to come up with an example and remembered the best one. "Have you met John Sheppard?"

"Yeah!" He shouldn't be quite that happy to recognize someone's name. "He's my big brother."

Buffy grinned. "Okay! Have a look at his hair the next time you see him. Now that's a boy who knows how to use product! And, of course, he's a cheerleader too."

"Only guy cheerleaders have good hair?" Lee asked.

"No!" She paused. "Well..."

"I'm not gonna be a cheerleader," he said hurriedly. "Sorry."
