Sometime during the mid morning hours, a different voice is heard from over the speakers.

"Good morning," Umbridge said, voice bright and cheery. "I thought it best that I introduce myself as soon as possible. My name is Dolores Umbridge and I've been hired to replace your former principal."

She didn't add 'for the time being' or make any other notations of Zoe's return. Those would be changing, after all.

"I trust everyone here will treat me with the utmost respect that an authority figure is deserved and I, in turn, will do the same for you."

No, she wouldn't.

"I'm having office hours should any student or faculty member decide to visit."

Umbridge paused for a brief moment before laughing, a high pitched sound that lasted briefly but seemed overly loud. "Thank you. Do have a pleasant day."

Rikku beamed. "Whoa. See? I knew you had mischief in you somewhere. That rules."

And then bit her lip. "But that kinda doesn't help here, does it? I mean, I don't think we have centaurs."

"And I don't think they'd visit," she said, which was partly her fault. "We'll come up with something."

"Totally," Rikku said with a nod. "I mean, you've officially got experience kicking this she-beast to the curb. That's good, right?"

Hermione paused. "If you really want to irritate her?" she said, and made a clomping sound with her hands, kind of like the sound of horse hooves. "Just don't let her know it was you."

"She hates horses?" Rikku asked. "That could be totally useful. If we did another mutiny. You should come, you know. They're way fun."

"It's the centaur thing," she said. "Anytime you did that around her, she'd get paranoid and start looking all over. And I'm not sure I'm in for a mutiny. Well, I have ideas for something, but not.... mutiny."

"The naked mutiny's kinda more about the naked than the mutiny," she admitted. "But you don't have to be naked. I mean, I'm not. And we put Precious Moments figurines in Hades's office. Did I ever show you the pictures?"

"I don't think so," she said. "You took pictures?"

Rikku beamed. "John Crichton did, 'cause I was his TA for Annoying People and all that, and he gave me copies and said he was seriously proud of me and it was so great. We had a copy of the Pretty Princess Parade movie going in, like, German and there was a poster of a baby bunny that said 'SOME-BUNNY WUVS YOU.'"

Hermione thought about that. "Don't do that for Umbridge. She might appreciate the cute."

Rikku thought for a minute. "Oh. Uh. What would tick her off more, then? Like, skulls and crossbones and Goth stuff, or, like, hot guys kissing each other?"

"The last thing, definitely," she said immediately.

[the_merriest]

"They should be naked guys," Rikku mused. "Heck, maybe we get some of the guys in the mutiny to make out with each other in her office and take pictures. Think that'd freak her out?"

Hermione bit her lip. "I don't think she'd react well. She's not just going to give detention and that'll be all."

"Oh." Her expression got more serious. "Is she ... like. Dangerous?"

"Sadistic," she said. "She made Harry do lines. He still has the scars."

Way to be a drama queen, Hermione.

"Whoa." Rikku hugged her knees. "Okay. So, uh. She messes with people, not just ... that's sick."
