Library [07/16]

Sam was as exhausted as a dinosaur invasion could make a person, so he had a very large cup of coffee with him when he went to open the library.

Dean wandered by to do a random 'make sure the little brother didn't get eaten by a dinosaur' check.

And there was Sammy looking entirely uneaten... with a bird in a cage beside him.

"Is that anyone I know?" Dean asked, peering at the bird.

"No, thankfully. He's my Creatures of Nature project," Sam replied. "I have to keep him alive and well until the end of the class."

"Homework you gotta water and feed huh?" He leaned over to get a better look at the bird. "He got a name?"

"I don't mind this kind of homework. He's a lot cuter than some of the other pets people ended up with. And no, he doesn't have a name yet. I've been trying to think of a good one, but I've been drawing a blank."

"Yep. Actually ended up spending most of yesterday in my room -- Alec decided teaching me how to knit was more important than dinosaur hunting."

"Well not very well," Dean said. "There was this bet. And Alec won. So I gotta do anything he asks until next Sunday."

Sam rolled his eyes. "Hey, speaking of people who have had sex with Alec, I officially met my female doppelganger today."

"Abigail? She's cool," Dean said. Then made a face. "Though the idea of her and Alec having sex sorta weirds me out."

"Oh yeah," Dean said. "I don't think he entirely understands why even though I've explained it to him. But he's agreed that there won't be any repeat attempts to break my brain, at least that way."

"And he's okay with that? With you asking him not to sleep Abigail again?" Sam asked, sounding a little surprised.

"Well yeah," Dean said, leaving out the part of how difficult it had been to get that point across. Because in the end, Alec had got it. At least enough as to not scratch that particular itch again.
