Sam was as exhausted as a dinosaur invasion could make a person, so he had a very large cup of coffee with him when he went to open the library.

"Yeah," Sam replied. "More specifically, I woke up looking a lot like you. It only lasted for the day, and everyone was fine again when we woke up in the morning. But when people saw you at the picnic, they probably thought it had happened again, and that's why they got confused."

"You realize that wasn't a very long story?" Abigail deadpanned.

"Yeah, it seemed a lot longer in my head," Sam admitted.

"I can't imagine what the island would be like if all the guys ended up as girls. It was probably really quiet, huh?" Abigail asked, grinning.

Sam shrugged casually. "Not really. I think people were more freaked out than anything else, at least in the morning."

"So there weren't a lot of guys...you know," Abigail replied, making a sexual gesture that really only worked with guys, but that would hopefully get her point across.

Sam got the point loud and clear, and felt himself turning a little red. "Some guys may have...experimented. But I didn't."

"You didn't? At all? Not even a little?"

"No, no way," Sam insisted. "I went to class, and then came back to my room and hid for the rest of the day. Which didn't do me much good in the end with Alec coming by to hit on me," he added, grumbling.

"Alec hit on you while you looked like me?" Abigail laughed. "No wonder he didn't hesitate to try to get in my pants."

"He hit on you too?" Sam asked.

"You say that like it's a bad thing."

"It's a bad thing if you're me!" Sam said, managing to not flail at her. "I don't know if you got the memo, but he's kind of involved with my brother."

"I'm aware that Alec is involved with others--wait, Alec is with Dean?" Abigail asked, before grinning. "Wow."

"Stop picturing it."

"How do you know I'm picturing it?"

"Because you have that happy look on your face that girls get when they're picturing it. Alec isn't still doing it, is he? Hitting on you, I mean."

Abigail shook her head. "Not so much anymore. But that's probably because I took him up on his offer."

"You..." Sam shrank back from her a little, making a face. "I don't think I wanted to know that."

Between his tone, and the look on his face, Abigail had to laugh. "Are you sure you're related to Dean? Because you don't seem to be anything like him."

"In this instance, I'm going to take that as a compliment."

Abigail snickered, and stood up straight again, backing up towards the bookshelves. "Well, thanks for explaining the whole lookalike thing to me. If it happens again, make sure you come up to the fifth floor, because I'll want to see you."

"I'll be sure to do that," Sam said dryly, waiting for her to get further into the shelves and out of earshot before fully facepalming.
