It was too hot for a coffee, so this morning Isabel had a frozen smoothie when she opened the library. On time.

"Excellent. That's that sorted out then," she said, sounding satisfied. In her experience, people rose to meet the job, so she wasn't concerned. "I'll have a copy of the syllabus sent to you in a couple of days. Now,"she smiled again, "any luck with those books?"

"They'll be right over here," Isabel said, stepping out from behind the desk to lead the way to the appropriate spot.
