Library - 7/10

It was too hot for a coffee, so this morning Isabel had a frozen smoothie when she opened the library. On time.

So, Isabel," Andrew was now whispering, "I'm here to look for a couple of books. Do you know if the library has any books written in ancient Sumerian or Sanskrit? I would also be interested in any tomes you might have on demonology, astral projection, coniferous trees, and, um, human sexuality." That last one came out a little rushed.

Andrew grimaced. "It took me a really long time to learn ancient Sumerian and Sanskrit and I've already translated most of what I can find on the internet and I really just don't want to get rusty." Andrew was being totally honest here. The boy had a knack for ancienty and strange dialects. "It can be a cookbook for all I care, just along as it's new to me."

He took a breath, "And I'm going to be starting private lessons on demonology with Mr. Giles sometime handwaivily soon, so I thought it would be a good thing to start reading up and doing some research." He was, at least, being mostly honest about this one.

"Astral projection has just always fascinated me, and I'm thinking about doing a documentary on the trees of Fandom." Okay, fuzzy about the astral projection thing, complete lie on the trees, but he really didn't feel like explaining his interest in 'human sexuality' at this point and time and was kind of hoping Isabel would forget he asked about it.

Andrew repeated the information to himself. "Okay. Thanks! I'll just be off and looking." He gave his big sis one last smile and turned to search the shelves.

In the back of his mind, he was wondering what teacher he could convince to give him a note to see this Special Collections section.
