Isabel opened the library on time, wondering if any of the newbies were going to come by and check it out.

Sabriel turned, and smiled. "Hi. I have found this book--" she held up a huge tome titled TEXAS. "--but I was wondering if there were any books here by Miss Demesnes?"

Sabriel's smile brightened. "Does that mean there is?"

"Oh yeah," she nodded. "Which ones have you read so far?"

"I've only read one called the Jade Flower," Sabriel said. "But from the list in the book I gather there are many more?"

Isabel started heading over to the paperback fiction books. "That's the one that started it all. You'll want to read The Amethyst Flower next and then work down the list from there. There's four more after that. Five when The Ruby Heart comes out in August."

Sabriel followed her. "So it's a series? Are all the books like the first one?" That might be a faint blush, yes.

"Yup. And yup." She grinned, "For the record, one of my friends say that thing they do in the hammock? Is possible only if they're telepaths. Or know each other really, really well. And I'd say he has enough experience to know."

Sabriel was certainly blushing now. "Telepaths?"

"Telepaths," Isabel repeated, perfectly serious. "It makes a certain kind of sense if you think about it. While their lips are otherwise occupied, they can mentally agree with direction to move in. Cause think about it, he moves one way and she goes the other? They'd end up on the floor."
