Isabel opened the library on time, her coffee in hand. She was still thinking about the message she'd gotten last night.

"That," he admitted, "was an experience that I perhaps would have been better off without. But we did escape in one piece, so I will not complain. I also will not be returning!"

"Aww, but think of the tackiness you'll be missing," Isabel grinned. "Next time? It could be a cow with a bedpan."

Karal groaned and put his head in his hand. Altra made a noise that was absolutely a snicker, it couldn't possibly be mistaken for anything else. "Don't laugh, Altra. If you had seen it, you would have been scared as well!"

"You could bring him something back if you went again. They had a whole section of stuff for pets," she told him before leaning down to pet Altra and whisper, "Only kidding."

Karal didn't even try and hide his grin. "Yes, Altra, how about a lovely collar with a little bell on it. A bell shaped like a cow." Altra stared at him in horror and reared up to put his front paws on Isabel's lap. :I'm staying with you.:

Karal laughed. "Apparently Altra has decided to stay with you."

"He's more then welcome," Isabel smiled. "Annie will love the company. And there's shrimp for dinner at least once a week."

She scratched Altra's ears then took another bite of her lunch, enjoying the time with a friend.
