Arts & Crafts 3, Tuesday Afternoon, Main Campfire

This afternoon Steve was standing over a table of useless junk. At each of the tables for workshoppers were glue, glitter, paint, and pipe cleaners.

"Today we're going to work on improvisational art," Steve said. "I've...handwavily appropriated some items from a store in town." He'd tried to pay, but there didn't seem to be anyone to pay. "You are to incorporate at least one of them into your project. Make whatever you want. Go wild. Have fun."

After a moment of silence, he added as a sort of footnote, "The theme of your project should be, 'Why the Superhuman Registration Act is a bad idea and will never work.'"

Oh, Johnny, Johnny, Johnny...

She grinned at him. "I enjoy making you smile, Johnny," she said with an impish look.

"Now that would depend on how exactly you intend to make me shiny..." She met his eyes.

"Did you know," he said, reaching out as he went to trace over her bottom lip with the pad of his thumb, "that there are many ways to make me smile?"

Johnny lowered his gaze to her chest, then slowly lifted his lashes to lock eyes with her. "I can come up with a couple suggestions to make you shiny, love. Of course, you probably won't look as shiny as me, but I'm certain you'll be beautiful nonetheless."

She definitely enjoyed that touch. "I'll have to explore those ways."

When he paused at her chest, it was a very, very good thing Eve wasn't in this class with them. She would have killed him for that.

"I wouldn't mind getting a little bit glittery, Johnny," she said with a grin, as she continued to snap photos with her camera.

"Yes, you will. I am perfect, Savannah, therefore most enjoyable."

He gave her a crooked grin, "Getting glittery requires one to take off their shirt."

He did not just suggest that she take off her shirt in the middle of class... did he?

"Johnny... I don't relish getting detention for stripping in class." Her smile was still pleasant.

Class... which is why he had not been thrown into a wall for suggesting she take off her shirt.

This was certainly not the same way he had acted with her before.

"Hmm, yes, I wouldn't want you to get detention either." He sighed dramatically and cocked a leg out, settling one hand low on his hip. "Then I suppose there is only thing left to do, Savannah."

She smiled and raised an eyebrow. "And what would that be, Johnny?" She was really curious as to what he came up with.

He crooked his finger at her, "You need to come closer and press your body against mine."

Savannah had to grin at that. She stood up again and moved to stand in front of him. "You certainly know how to talk to a girl," she said with an impish grin.

Johnny reached out, attempting to pull her in close, "Yes, I know," he said softly, grinning down at her. "It's just my natural allure."

Savannah let him pull her close to him. "It's a natural something," she said with a big smile.

Chuckling, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer, pressing her against him with his hands splayed at the small of her back. "You are going to be very shiny, Savannah."

As Johnny pressed her against him, she could just imagine explaining all of this to the guys in her cabin later. There was going to be glitter everywhere, but she had been curious to see how far Johnny would go with whatever he was up to today.

He would no longer be able to act cautious of glitter. She now had proof that he liked it.

"From where I'm standing, shiny is very good, Johnny," Savannah smiled up at him.

"It most certainly is," he replied softly, checking out his own shoulders and arms as they held her. "Does it make you want to kiss me?"
