fandomhigh | Detention - Saturday, May 19

When the students enter the Danger Shop for detention, they'll notice two very different things. One, it's snowing. Yes, snow is falling all around the Danger Shop. Two? Fraser's in long john's. It's probably the least amount of clothing he's ever worn during his time at Fandom High ~~and thank you canon for the icons~~. Of course, they're red.

Even with snow falling, the temperature isn't freezing. It's cold but not freezing. There's a list of names on the board.

Fraser nodded a greeting as everyone filed in. "Please sign in and take your seats. Since the majority of you are here do to some form of naked mutiny, I think we can start by giving you the choice of serving this detention fully clothed or...in the same sense as myself. It's going to be snowing the entire time though."

He paused for a moment. "Today? You'll be saving Canada from four very different foes. On the outside, they appear normal, everyday people or things. You will have to judge, examine and defeat. If you fail, Canada will fall and that will be on your mind. If you succeed, you will have succeeded in saving one of the most beautiful countries on the planet."

It began snowing harder. Fraser, if anything, looked gleeful. "Visitors will be allowed during lunch and only during lunch. So, if you're ready, we'll begin."

Lunch is open for visitors! Come and eat with the naked mutineers or come and gawk at Fraser in his underwear because who knows if that'll happen again.

Seely rubbed his arms as he settled down to eat, because yeah, just a little chilly.

Rikku grinned at Seely. "When they said we could show up half-naked, I should've known there'd be a catch. How are you doing?"

"Alright," Seely grinned.

Then he sneezed.

"You totally need a toque-thing," Rikku said helpfully. "I swiped one from Jude. I guess Canadians don't get cold."

"That's because Canada is a frozen wasteland of ice and snow."

"It's got malls, too," Rikku noted. "My future-kid's been banned from several of 'em. What's a mall, anyway?"

"Big indoor marketplace," Seely replied without hesitation. Then sneezed again.

"Ooooooh. Thanks! I'm even more proud, now." She gave him a concerned look. "Uh, are you okay? Maybe you wanna put your shirt back on?"

It killed her to suggest that. It really, really did.

As was his arrangement with Zoe, Zuko showed up with food from J,GOB for lunch. There was plenty to go around.

Johnny sat down to eat, feeling pretty neutral.

Rikku pulled the toque down over her ears and tried not to shiver. It was a point of pride, now. Mmmm, food!

Alec sat down for lunch, feeling very accomplished.

"Funny seeing you here," Dawn sat down beside him to eat.

Alec grinned at Dawn. "Likewise," he said. "I don't remember seeing you in the mutiny - victim of the lucky draw?"

"What, you didn't see me running around naked?" Dawn teased.

He made a show of thinking back. "Nah, pretty sure I would've remembered that," he said confidently, then grinned again. "How've you done so far?"

"Got the old woman to walk herself across the street and the second," she made a face, "the second threw a shoe at me. Not fun. What about you, and aren't you freezing?"

"You do remember what I am, right?" He shifted a little closer to her, arching an eyebrow. "It's kind of chilly, but I run hot."

"Sorry for getting you into this," Rikku grinned. "You hanging in there?"

"Well, it's cold in here," Mikey replied, drizzling some maple syrup onto his poutine casually, "but it's been pretty cool so far. And getting that lady back into the house was waaay easy, you know?" He grinned. "Totally worth it."

Rikku giggled. "Sorry about the cold. I think they're trying to teach us a lesson. I stole a toque from the Canadian."

"I know, it's kinda fun, isn't it?" She bounced in her seat. "Detention usually is. Although I bet Buffy's gonna be ticked. Me, Seely, Alec and Hamlet are here." She shook her head. "I'll have to suck up later."

Mikey nodded with a devious grin, then helped himself to his maple poutine.
"Sucking up is good. See if you can put in a good word for the turtle. You know, the one in the orange mask who is totally trying out for the team as we speak."

Rikku gasped. "No way. How'd you manage that?!" And then bounced. "Dude, you wanna be on the squad?! That'd be the coolest thing ever!"
