When the students enter the Danger Shop for detention, they'll notice two very different things. One, it's snowing. Yes, snow is falling all around the Danger Shop. Two? Fraser's in long john's. It's probably the least amount of clothing he's ever worn during his time at Fandom High ~~and thank you canon for the icons~~. Of course, they're red.

Even with snow falling, the temperature isn't freezing. It's cold but not freezing. There's a list of names on the board.

Fraser nodded a greeting as everyone filed in. "Please sign in and take your seats. Since the majority of you are here do to some form of naked mutiny, I think we can start by giving you the choice of serving this detention fully clothed or...in the same sense as myself. It's going to be snowing the entire time though."

He paused for a moment. "Today? You'll be saving Canada from four very different foes. On the outside, they appear normal, everyday people or things. You will have to judge, examine and defeat. If you fail, Canada will fall and that will be on your mind. If you succeed, you will have succeeded in saving one of the most beautiful countries on the planet."

It began snowing harder. Fraser, if anything, looked gleeful. "Visitors will be allowed during lunch and only during lunch. So, if you're ready, we'll begin."

"What, you didn't see me running around naked?" Dawn teased.

He made a show of thinking back. "Nah, pretty sure I would've remembered that," he said confidently, then grinned again. "How've you done so far?"

"Got the old woman to walk herself across the street and the second," she made a face, "the second threw a shoe at me. Not fun. What about you, and aren't you freezing?"

"You do remember what I am, right?" He shifted a little closer to her, arching an eyebrow. "It's kind of chilly, but I run hot."

"Must be nice," Dawn scooted closer, hoping he'd radiate heat like a space heater. "I'm usually cold."

Alec did indeed radiate heat and he seemed quite happy with Dawn getting closer. "Yeah, they wanted troops that could survive whatever weather they threw us into," he said.

Dawn was finally starting to thaw out, and this made her happy. She grinned at Alec, "So you get to run around in your underwear no matter the weather? That's nice and inconspicuous."

"Pretty much," Alec laughed. "Or, you know, keep warm at night. Or others warm."

"So you're a pretty transgenic blanket?" Dawn teased.

"That would be what I am exactly," Alec said, grin widening.

She elbowed him, "You're making me all jealous of Dean now."

"Oh really?" He leaned away from her a little to try and lessen the elbowing, amused. "Do you get cold at night a lot?"

"Only when Sam's not around," she said loyally, blushing a little as she realized what she'd almost implied.

Alec snickered. "That can't be that often," he said, rather generously.

"Not much, no," Dawn grinned, a little smugly.

"Good," he said, grinning back. "Glad to hear you guys are... doing okay? Man, it feels weird saying that."

"Weird? How come?" She asked, taking a bite of lunch.

"Wishing Sam well," he explained, waving a hand. "And the dating thing. But I'm glad it works for some people."

"It does, and Sam makes it easy." Dawn decided not to mention that Alec and Dean, were, y'know, dating. Neither Alec nor Dean would thank her for it.

"He's not evil, you know. And I can see that maybe from your point of view he is, because, hi, temporary moronsville, but it gets hard for Dean."

"I know he's not, and I try to get along with him for Dean's sake," he said, sighing. "Sam makes it really difficult though."

"I know he does," Dawn agreed, head down. "I think he and Dean spent too much time together growing up. They don't really get how to be apart."

"I really don't know what to do about that," Alec said, shrugging helplessly. "Dean doesn't freak out about you spending time with Sam."

"No," she traced patterns on the table with her finger, "but he's way with the overprotective sometimes."
