Out by the main campfire, there were a few tables set up, and a slim, nervous-looking brunette standing in front of them.

"Morning!" she said cheerfully. "If you want coffee, there's a ton, and I brought doughnuts? I hope that's okay with you guys. If you want me to bring different stuff next week, let me know."

She gripped her own coffee cup, and smiled. "Um, so hi. I'm Rory, and I know...most of you. And welcome to the workshop that has the really long name because I was in a creative mood when I submitted it, so we're just going to call it Glitter, okay? And this workshop is just going to be about making ordinary things more sparkly. Because sparkles are never a bad thing, right? Unless you get glitter in your hair. That stuff makes friends with your scalp or something and just never washes out, so be careful. "

She cleared her throat. "Um, so this is going to be pretty easy today. I want everyone to introduce yourselves, say your age and the grade you'll be in the fall, favorite color, and...favorite pizza topping. And then after that, I've got some shirts for you guys," she pointed to a table laden with glitter of all colors, glitter glue pens, puff paint, feathers, hot glue ~~and all kinds of moddable goodies~~ and a neat stack of white T-shirts. "You can do whatever you want to them, okay? Just be creative, and they're yours to keep."

"Right! So, introductions." She waved. "My name's Rory Gilmore, I'm eighteen and just graduated, so I'll be a freshman at Yale in the fall. Well, technically freshman with sophomore credits, but that's irrelevant. My favorite color is blue, and I like just about anything on my pizza, but pepperoni is my favorite."

She looked around, smiling. "Who wants to go next?"

Cordelia normally reserved glitter for campaign posters, but she decided to make an exception. She took some purple and began to write "Queen C" in purple, and drew a big heart around it.

"My sister's a princess," Luke said with a smile, glancing at the girl's shirt.

Cordelia smiled, not really understanding what he meant. "That's so sweet of you to say. Most brothers never compliment their sisters, or so I've heard."

Luke blinked. "Huh? Oh, no, she's actually a princess. Silly hat and all."

It was Cordelia's turn to blink. "A real princess? A tiara-wearing, bow-before-me for I am royal, one day I will be queen, princess?" She thought for a moment. "I'm jealous. This is new."

"She gets kind of annoyed with the bowing, actually," Luke said with a smile, "and she'll never be queen, but essentially, yeah. Oh, I'm Luke. Hi."

She held her hand out to Luke. "Cordelia Chase. I don't think I'd ever get tired of people bowing to me. Why won't she be queen someday?"

"Her planet kind of, um, exploded," Luke said, looking chagrined.

Cordelia's eyes grew wide, and she knew her face probably dripped shock. "I am so sorry," she whispered.

Luke stared at the ground. "I suck at small talk," he muttered.

Cordelia grimaced, really feeling sorry for the guy. "It's OK, small talk is an art, like glitter," she said with a laugh.

"And they can both lead to kissing," Luke pointed out.

Then turned beet red.

Smooth like a Skywalker. Really.

Cordelia laughed out loud. But not altogether in a mean way. "Um, yeah," she smiled and tried to recover. "But, like kissing, you need practice."

"I really need practice," Luke said, still trying to blush himself to death. "Normally I'm better at meeting people."

Not really, no.

Cordelia raised her eyebrows. This guy reminded her of someone, and she just couldn't place him. "You need practice kissing, Luke? Or making small talk? Or using glitter?" she teased.

"Does the glitter thing really need practice?" Luke asked.

She looked at their shirts. "No, I guess not." She looked back up at look with a smile. "So just kissing and small talk."

Someone suave would've turned this into a clever euphemism with just a hint of flirting.

But that wouldn't be Luke.

"I need practice, yeah," he babbled instead. "Because if I don't I'll be doomed to a life of celibacy and having crushes on my sister."

Way to overshare, Luke.

Cordelia's eyes grew wide again, this time with slight disgust. "Um, ew."

She went back to decorating her tshirt.

"I didn't know we were related then," Luke told nobody in particular, concentrating on making his shirt as unglittery as possible.

Cordelia turned back to him. "How do you not know that your sister is your sister?"

"We were separated at birth and grew up on different planets," Luke said, blushing furiously. "I've been told we resemble a bad soap opera."
