Glitter [Thursday, third period]

Out by the main campfire, there were a few tables set up, and a slim, nervous-looking brunette standing in front of them.

"Morning!" she said cheerfully. "If you want coffee, there's a ton, and I brought doughnuts? I hope that's okay with you guys. If you want me to bring different stuff next week, let me know."

She gripped her own coffee cup, and smiled. "Um, so hi. I'm Rory, and I know...most of you. And welcome to the workshop that has the really long name because I was in a creative mood when I submitted it, so we're just going to call it Glitter, okay? And this workshop is just going to be about making ordinary things more sparkly. Because sparkles are never a bad thing, right? Unless you get glitter in your hair. That stuff makes friends with your scalp or something and just never washes out, so be careful. "

She cleared her throat. "Um, so this is going to be pretty easy today. I want everyone to introduce yourselves, say your age and the grade you'll be in the fall, favorite color, and...favorite pizza topping. And then after that, I've got some shirts for you guys," she pointed to a table laden with glitter of all colors, glitter glue pens, puff paint, feathers, hot glue and all kinds of moddable goodies and a neat stack of white T-shirts. "You can do whatever you want to them, okay? Just be creative, and they're yours to keep."

"Right! So, introductions." She waved. "My name's Rory Gilmore, I'm eighteen and just graduated, so I'll be a freshman at Yale in the fall. Well, technically freshman with sophomore credits, but that's irrelevant. My favorite color is blue, and I like just about anything on my pizza, but pepperoni is my favorite."

She looked around, smiling. "Who wants to go next?"

Luke stared at the shirts, a little nonplussed. "I didn't know I'd have to wear the stuff," he muttered under his breath.

Luke waved his hand, trying to move the glitter using the Force like Rory once told him his father could.

The breeze blew most of it around instead. Luke frowned. "Where am I going to wear a shirt covered in glitter anyway?" he asked.

"Dude, in this town? Like, anywhere. 'Specially where there are girls." Jude frowned and inspected the glitter. "Somethin' about glitter and kissy?"

Donnie went through the t-shirts to find the largest size one and then pulled it on to see if it even fit - which it did, though slightly oddly, given it had to stretch over his shell.

"Hi Donnie," Buffy said, sitting down close by with her own shirt. "Do you think the glitter thing works on turtles?"

"Like, if boys get glitter on them they have to kiss other boys?" Buffy explained. Yes, she did still think it was a rule.

Donnie stared at her a moment, deciding that this might be a Fandom thing. "Are you asking if it'd make turtles kiss boys? Or other turtles?"

"If it would make turtle boys kiss boys," Buffy nodded. She paused, frowning at him. "Mikey and the angry looking one are your brothers, aren't they? I mean, ick."

"I don't think I've ever worn anything with glitter," Cedric said, looking at the glitter like it might bite him.

"Then now is a good time to start!" Buffy grinned at him and held up a glitter glue pen as a sort of emphasis.

"Oh, everyone looks good in glitter," Buffy said confidently. "Maybe some blue?"

"Maybe?" He was hedging. "Glitter colors are a weak point of mine."

"Then you're totally in the right class. I mean, by the end you'll probably know everything there is to know about glitter!" Buffy looked pleased by the prospect.

Cordelia normally reserved glitter for campaign posters, but she decided to make an exception. She took some purple and began to write "Queen C" in purple, and drew a big heart around it.

"My sister's a princess," Luke said with a smile, glancing at the girl's shirt.

Cordelia smiled, not really understanding what he meant. "That's so sweet of you to say. Most brothers never compliment their sisters, or so I've heard."

It was Cordelia's turn to blink. "A real princess? A tiara-wearing, bow-before-me for I am royal, one day I will be queen, princess?" She thought for a moment. "I'm jealous. This is new."
