Oooh, Annette loved tecus. She got two. She also got two s'mures. Couldn't go wrong with a lunch like that. Ever.

Finding an empty table, she sat down and unscrewed the cap on her water bottle, then took a huge bite of her tecus.

Warren came in for lunch and spotted Annette. "Oh, hey, uh, mind if I join you?"

He might, either way she answered.

"Oh, Warren! Hi! And nope, I don't mind at all." She smiled and took a drink of water.

Warren sat down, tacus and all. "Did you get a load of that chef? What language is he speaking?"

"I like the chef, he's funny. And he's Swedish. The Swedish Chef." She thinks.

Annette took another bite of her tecus. Yum.

"Huh. I guess this school is pretty international, huh?"

Annette nodded, "I think so. I can pretty much understand everybody, but you know? Everyone looks normal to me too. Even a huge talking turtle looks normal since I've talked to him." That might not be entirely true.

"How you doing today, Warren?"

"You mean that kid who thinks he's a 'ninja turtle'? Yeah, I guess he's cool enough," Warren picked up his tacu. "It's going alright. You?"

"He's a ninja turtle?" she asked. "I...didn't know that." And she wondered how the heck a turtle can be a ninja. Don't they move too slow and stuff?

"Pretty good. I've got three workshops today. I don't know why I signed up for three on one day."

"I had three yesterday. But it means that after History, each week, I'm totally done."

"Hey Warren." Billy nodded to his little brother. "How're you adjusting to Fandom?"

"This town is insane."

"It really is. Are there any specific things that caught your attention? Or are you speaking generally?"

"That pretty much covers it." Billy snickered. "Are people treating you alright though?"

"They're all still trying to convince me of all this crazy stuff. This girl, Cally? Tried to get me to wear a corset."

"...Okay. That is a little weird. Was there glitter involved?"

His plate filled mostly with rice and salad, Billy smiled at Annette and took a seat. "Heya."

"Hiya, Billy!" she smiled around a mouthful of s'mures.

Billy snickered a bit at the sound that a mouthful of smores makes. "How's classes going so far?"

She was nodding, swallowing, and held up her finger. After taking a big drink of water, she said, "Great. Got three workshops today and the rest of my week is totally free. How are your's going?"

"Pretty good. I had firearms yesterday, and Ninjaing today. Both seem like they're gonna be good."

"That's great. I have How to Annoy your Teachers, History in Action, and Women and Gender Studies."
