Library, Wednesday [05/16]

With the area properly cleared and safe for people to walk through, Thursday opened the library. She pushed the door open and looked inside. The grimace on her face said it all.

While the structure was intact and (after a cursory look inside) Special Collections was seemingly undisturbed, the main library itself was in shambles. Every single book was off the shelves. Some of the shelves were flat on the ground. Chairs were on their sides or up-ended. The computers looked worse for wear.

They had some work ahead of them, that was for sure. It didn't help that the power was seemingly out.

"Best get to it then," she said to herself and moved to pick up a chair.

[OOC: While we're not looking for any new library aides until Fall, feel free to come by the library when it's opened by one of the current aides and help clean and reshelve. Please follow the instructions given by the librarian and the aides.]

Ami nodded. "Just moving them to the sides?" she asked, as she started following Thursday's example.

"Got it. Is this all from the school blowing up? And um, are you the new librarian?"

"Oh good. I am not sure how long i could last without a library, you know?" Ami grinned. "The bookstore is good and all, but no comparison really. Oh, and welcome to the new job. I think i have seen you before though, were you teaching last term?"

"Oh i heard about the Villains class. But i am not sure from who now." Ami said chagrined. "Oh, i am sorry, i am being horribly rude. I am Ami." She extended her hand.

"Sometimes, it is all about the proximity to the books" Ami said, continuing her work clearing up the room. "I don't have a workshop until after lunch so i can stick around."
