Arts & Crafts, Tuesday Afternoon, Main Campfire

As the campers arrived, they would find a tall, athletic blond man in a polo shirt and khakis presiding over picnic tables covered with crafting supplies.

"Good afternoon, everyone," Steve began. "I'm Mr. Rogers--no, not that Mr. Rogers, the other Mr. Rogers--and I'll be in charge of this workshop. We're going to have a lot of fun I hope.

"So, to get started, this week we're going to make gremlins." Steve was oblivious to any horrified twitching this comment might have engendered among his students. He was really new at this. "All the necessary supplies and instruction sheets are already on the table, so...get to it. You can work together if you want to, but please remember the glue and paint are for your projects, not each other. I'll be right over here ~~out of the line of fire~~ if you need any help or have any questions."

Setsuna didn't understand why, but she felt...slightly disturbed by this assignment. And making the little gremlin's wings left her back itching terribly...

Ami waved a little at Setsuna as she started working on her gremlin.

Setsuna ~~now knowing how their earlier thread went~~ waved back to Ami, with a smile and a nod. The smile was partly apologetic for earlier today.

Ami ~~now knowing they even had a conversation earlier~~ smiled back. And walked over. //"There is glitter"// she said as a way of greeting.

//"There is,"// Setsuna nodded, eying it and feeling a need to stay away from it, although she wasn't sure why.

//"There is always glitter in this place it seems."// Ami looked at the instructions. //"I think my gremlin is going to be blue"//

[[me too. burlesque show to go to]]

//"Too much, if you ask me,"// Setsuna muttered, shaking her head slightly before asking, //"Why blue?"//

//"Why not? I like blue. It makes me think of water, and the sea and..."// she was going to say Mercury but that sounded stupid, didn't' it?

[[oh yes. i have friends in the troupe, and they are awesome. plus BPAL in the goodie bags]

Setsuna smiled a little at that. //"Do you think,"// she asked, //"a white gremlin would look too odd?"//

//"I think it would be cute. If ghostly"//

Cute, if ghostly. It was an interesting choice of words, ones that left Setsuna's thoughtful before she nodded. //"White it is, then."//

//"Excellent. If i were you i would use silver glitter then."//

//"Does...there have to be glitter?"// Setsuna asked, really, really hoping Ami would say no.

Jude ninja-snuck up behind her and sprinkled some glitter in her hair. Not because of magical properties. Just 'cause.

Setsuna's eyes went upward. There was glitter. In her hair. Her eyes shifted to the side, turning slightly. She grinned. "Nice, Jude..."

"Hey, bra," Jude greeted her, mellow tone not matching his grin. "Miss me?"

"Actually," Setsuna said, brushing the excess glitter out of her hair, shaking her head a little and leaving a sprinkling of it on the table, "yes. Where've you been?" There was a pause for a slight grin. "Rikku occupying that much of your time?"

Jude's ears went pink. "Uh, kinda. I went to Spira with her for like a week."

Awww, Setsuna missed those pink ears. "Spira her home country/city/planet/whatever, then?" she asked, head tilting slightly. Come to think of it, she hadn't seen her fellow minion in a while, either, and considered tracking Rikku down for another double attack on Deadpool...

Jude considered. "I think 'dimension' works best. But yeah. Met her dad and her brother and all her friends."

Setsuna looked impressed; sounded pretty serious. "How'd that go?"

"Good. Her dad was kinda harshing on me, though, 'cause he thought I was a weakling - which I am, but still. Harsh. But it was really fun. Her friends seemed nice." His ears were pink. They were also . . . well-endowed. Well, one was anyway.

Setsuna bit her lip a little, looking at Jude's lankly arms. Yeah, so he was a bit of a weakling, but that's why they all loved him. Still, she couldn't help think that Rikku's father sounded like someone she might like. The flare of pink in Jude's ears were interesting, though... "Good," she said. "I'm glad it went well."

"Taught Rikku how to board," he said excitedly. "She's pretty good already. And it was awesome, you could board like everywhere. There was this path, made out of stars . . ."

"Path made out of stars?" Setsuna asked, slightly skeptically, not because she didn't believe it could exist, but more because she had trouble imagining boarding on stars. She certainly wasn't surprised to learn that Rikku could pick up boarding; she was so...spritely that it surprised her that she didn't already know.
