Detention, April 28th, The Danger Shop

The Tick opened up the Danger Shop - which looked like a city rooftop - bright and early and put up a signup sheet.

"Huh," The Tick said as students started to filter in. "Well, a rooftop is no place for children. Let's see..." The Tick started to poke at buttons until he recalled the same playground setting that was used just about this time last year. "That's better! Let's have a good, fun detention! SPOOON!"

[OOC: Detention will only take place through lunchtime because Tick won't punish a bunch of little kids unless they send a crazed cyborg dog on him. There will be an afternoon Danger Playground in Dorms later on.

And don't worry about the standard thing about playing elsewhere. Just make sure it's not set for morning. IT'S WEETINY, DAMMIT!]

"I'm not evil!" Zuko protested, but swords were fun. Even if this was a stick and he blocked Sokka's attack and quickly tried to hit Sokka.

"Hey, no fair! I wasn't ready yet!" Sokka protested, rubbing his shoulder. "'sides, I get a handicap 'cause your better with swords!" He swung the stick at Zuko again, this time WITHOUT shouting "Ha!".

"Yes, you were!" Zuko argued and the lack of warning meant that he got hit on the arm. Frowning, this aimed for Sokka's stick instead of for the boy.

Zuko's stick hit Sokka's, and then Sokka pulled his stick back and swung it around again, trying to hit Zuko's stick again. "Ha HA!" he shouted, overdramatically.

That was better and Zuko was grinning as he hit Sokka's stick back. "You won't stop me!" he shouted, forgetting his earlier protests against not wanting to be evil.

Sokka hit Zuko's stick again, getting a rhythm going.

"You'll never get away with this!" he shouted. "I won't let you steal the taxes!"

"I will," Zuko tried to press forward, quite possibly forgetting that bad guys had to lose. "And then I'll buy all the chocolate on the island!"

Sokka lets himself be pushed backwards a bit, then presses forward himself. "NUH-UH! You don't get the chocolate! Not allowed!"

"Yes, it is!" Zuko tried to hit Sokka's stick a little faster. "I'm a prince, I can get all the chocolate I want! It's in the rules!"

"No one beats me!" Zuko shouted dramatically.

"I DO!" Sokka shouted. Dropping his stick, he pounced at Zuko, trying to tackle him.

Zuko eeped, but couldn't do much of anything as he hit the ground. He wasn't going to be outdone by a watertribe however and tried to wrestle Sokka off of him.

Sokka clonked his head on a rock and started crying.

It obviously wasn't Zuko's day as people kept getting hurt around him and he was flailing again.

"Sokka?" he asked worried, carefully touching his shoulder as if he was scared he'd hurt there too. "You okay?"

"Mmm-hmm." Sokka nodded and wiped away the tears. There was only a LITTLE blood. "'m fine. Need pizza to make it all better."

Zuko was pretty sure blood wasn't a good thing, but he didn't know what you had to do about it either. Wanting to do *something* however, he quickly got to his feet and ran off only to return a little while later with some pizza.

"Here," he said, holding out the slice.

Sokka's eyes lit up. "You're the BEST worstest enemy EVER!!!!" He shoved as much of the pizza into his mouth at once as he possibly could. "'nk you," he said as he chewed.

Zuko had no idea if being the best worstest was a good or a bad thing so he just noticed. "Welcome," he said politely. "Are you better now?"

"Uh-huh!!!" Sokka sprayed bits of half-chewed pizza at Zuko.

"No more being mean to Katara, 'kay? Or I'll hafta beat you at swords again."

"Did too! I was all, UNGH! UNGH!" -- Sokka mimed whacking something with a stick -- "an' you was all, 'Oh no please don't hit me!'"

He was about to argue again, but being awesome was kind of cool. So he nodded in agreement, figuring that at least he knew better. "Okay, but now we should find someone else to fight," he decided. "Maybe some earth benders."
