Detention, April 28th, The Danger Shop

The Tick opened up the Danger Shop - which looked like a city rooftop - bright and early and put up a signup sheet.

"Huh," The Tick said as students started to filter in. "Well, a rooftop is no place for children. Let's see..." The Tick started to poke at buttons until he recalled the same playground setting that was used just about this time last year. "That's better! Let's have a good, fun detention! SPOOON!"

[OOC: Detention will only take place through lunchtime because Tick won't punish a bunch of little kids unless they send a crazed cyborg dog on him. There will be an afternoon Danger Playground in Dorms later on.

And don't worry about the standard thing about playing elsewhere. Just make sure it's not set for morning. IT'S WEETINY, DAMMIT!]

Of course, you know what they say, it's all fun and games until...

Sokka clonked his head on a rock and started crying.

It obviously wasn't Zuko's day as people kept getting hurt around him and he was flailing again.

"Sokka?" he asked worried, carefully touching his shoulder as if he was scared he'd hurt there too. "You okay?"

"Mmm-hmm." Sokka nodded and wiped away the tears. There was only a LITTLE blood. "'m fine. Need pizza to make it all better."

Zuko was pretty sure blood wasn't a good thing, but he didn't know what you had to do about it either. Wanting to do *something* however, he quickly got to his feet and ran off only to return a little while later with some pizza.

"Here," he said, holding out the slice.

Sokka's eyes lit up. "You're the BEST worstest enemy EVER!!!!" He shoved as much of the pizza into his mouth at once as he possibly could. "'nk you," he said as he chewed.

Zuko had no idea if being the best worstest was a good or a bad thing so he just noticed. "Welcome," he said politely. "Are you better now?"

"Uh-huh!!!" Sokka sprayed bits of half-chewed pizza at Zuko.

"No more being mean to Katara, 'kay? Or I'll hafta beat you at swords again."

"You didn't beat me!" Zuko protested, quite possibly forgetting the rest of the sentence.

"Did too! I was all, UNGH! UNGH!" -- Sokka mimed whacking something with a stick -- "an' you was all, 'Oh no please don't hit me!'"

Zuko crossed his arms. "Was not."

"Uh-huh, was too. And then you got pizza and that makes you awesome."

He was about to argue again, but being awesome was kind of cool. So he nodded in agreement, figuring that at least he knew better. "Okay, but now we should find someone else to fight," he decided. "Maybe some earth benders."

Sokka did his best impression of one of the few evil earthbenders he knew.

"The BOULDER is gonna SQUASH you like a BUG!" he shouted, posing like a pro wrestler.

Zuko giggled. "Am not a bug," he said. "I can take the Boulder." Not that Zuko knew anything about pro wrestling.

Sokka clenched his teeth and brought his tensed hands together in front of his face.

"The BOULDER is not impressed by your TINY threats!" Sokka mimed an earthbending move at Zuko.

"The Boulder should be as he's never faced a firebender before!" Zuko was careful not to send out any fire as he pretended to block the move.

"The BOULDER always beats Fire Nation Man's pants off!"

Sokka gestured dramatically at the ground and made a "PWRSHHHHH!" noise with his mouth, which obviously meant he was pretending to have a column of rock shoot up underneath Zuko.

Pretending to be brought off balance, Zuko leapt from the imaginary column and responded with an as imaginary burst of fire. "I'm a prince!"

Yes, he did think this meant that he had one up on a pro wrestler.

Sokka ducked the imaginary fire.

"The BOULDER is your WORST NIGHTMARE, prince!"

He picked up an imaginary boulder and threw it at Zuko.

Zuko made a very dramatic roll to the ground to duck the boulder.

"The boulder is toast!" he shouted, sending imaginary flames at Sokka with added sound effects.

"AAAAAAAAGH! The BOULDER doesn't like being toast!" Sokka ran around, flailing at the imaginary flames, and then dropped to the ground and rolled around. And started giggling.

"I win!" Zuko punched the air and then started to giggle too.
