Ares looked disturbingly happy as he addressed the class.

"Our final today is " He clicked his fingers and a portal appeared. "If you'd all follow me through the portal?"

As the class entered the portal, they may have felt an odd tingling.

Krycek was fairly sure that Ares wouldn't actually let them be killed, but still, he felt better looking for a way out and testing the boundaries of their capturedness - namely, seeing where the guards were and how easy it might be to get by them.

Krycek glanced at Gabrielle, wondering if he had a sign saying "Cute blondes, talk to this guy!" He nodded to her politely though, just in case she had some clue to getting them out. "Hey. Were you captured as well?"

"Yeah," Gabrielle replied. "Turns out these guys have a more aggressive recruiting policy than Xena thought."
