Ethics [Monday, April 23, 5th period]

Anakin, for once, looked well-rested and relaxed as the class came into the room. "For your final project," he began, "you'll contrast what you learned taking care of eggs versus actual, live younglings." He smiled. "Absolutely no points will be given if all you can come up with is that one doesn't run around or the other one doesn't fit into the refrigerator. What would you have done if the younglings that appeared last week had been here to stay permanently? How would that have affected your summer plans? Or life post-graduation?"

He pointed to a student at random. "Your final discussion begins now."

"My brain is only a little bruised, and slightly shaken," Sam said, smirking.

Sammy joking about it made Dean relax just that little bit more. "I suppose we should count this as a step forward as it doesn't look like you got strangled at least," Dean observed.

"I think I would have rather been strangled," Sam said, rubbing the back of his head gently. "It might have hurt less in the long run."

"Let's try to avoid both for a while, huh?"

"I think I'll try to avoid getting possessed too. Maybe that'll help with avoiding the other two."

"Yeah, that's not something we need to repeat. Ever," Dean said with feeling.

"I agree," Sam said solemnly. "I think I hate getting possessed more than anything else. I hate losing control."

"Really? I hadn't noticed," Dean deadpanned.

"Yeah, well, bad things happen then," Dean said with a shrug.

Sam smirked. "I like that idea a lot. Especially since I don't want to keep worrying you and freaking you out."

"Yeah, I'd appreciate that," Dean said dryly. "I'm way too young for heart attacks."

"You at least get a warning about that most of the time," Dean pointed out.
