Ethics [Monday, April 23, 5th period]

Anakin, for once, looked well-rested and relaxed as the class came into the room. "For your final project," he began, "you'll contrast what you learned taking care of eggs versus actual, live younglings." He smiled. "Absolutely no points will be given if all you can come up with is that one doesn't run around or the other one doesn't fit into the refrigerator. What would you have done if the younglings that appeared last week had been here to stay permanently? How would that have affected your summer plans? Or life post-graduation?"

He pointed to a student at random. "Your final discussion begins now."

Anakin cocked up an eyebrow. "I got an insight into what Leia might've been like when she was younger and less angry," he said.

Of course, the times he'd met Leia she'd been in prison, being tortured, or watching her boyfriend get tortured, so his perception was a wee bit skewed.

Molly narrowed her eyes a little. "And what did you learn about yourself?"

"Was I supposed to learn something about myself?" Anakin countered.

"About how you deal with children, yes," she said.

"I deal with them fine when they go away after a few days."

Said the guy with holos of them on his desk.

Riiiiiight.

Molly tilted her head and gave him a thoughtful look. "So what would you have done if Trudi had stayed?"

"Invested in armor for all the people who would've come after me for having a child with you," he said with a small smile. "And then tried to teach her how to be a better person than I am."

Molly stuck out her tongue at him for his first statement and then gave him a smug look. "See. You would have been a good father to her no matter what you think."

Anakin shrugged. "It's hard not to improve on my current record."

"Also true," Molly said with a nod. "You can't improve if you quit trying though."

"I'll run right out and pick up a youngling, then," Anakin said, blinking slowly. "You're poking me, aren't you?"

Molly gave him a big grin and then put on her most innocent expression. "Me? Why would I do that?"

Molly laughed. "I'll stop for today. I have another question for you though."

"More of a favor, really." Molly said. "Would you be able to make another hologram thingy of Ursa and Trudi for Katara? I don't think she has any pictures of her daughter."

"Absolutely," Anakin said with a nod. "Have her stop by my office on Friday to pick it up."
