Ethics [Monday, April 23, 5th period]

Anakin, for once, looked well-rested and relaxed as the class came into the room. "For your final project," he began, "you'll contrast what you learned taking care of eggs versus actual, live younglings." He smiled. "Absolutely no points will be given if all you can come up with is that one doesn't run around or the other one doesn't fit into the refrigerator. What would you have done if the younglings that appeared last week had been here to stay permanently? How would that have affected your summer plans? Or life post-graduation?"

He pointed to a student at random. "Your final discussion begins now."

"It is easier to forget about taking care of an egg for a few days than it is real kids," Molly said, feeling a bit of guilt for not doing her share of the assignment.

"There is also a lot more worrying involved when it's your own kid. More than if you're just babysitting someone else's, I mean."
