Library [04/13]

Rory sleepily made her way into the library Friday morning well before she needed to open, her thoughts still on a conversation from a few nights back.

"And I have your present," Rory replied, slapping her palm against her forehead. "Just um, not with me." She eyed Angela. "For someone who's legal and dangerous now, you don't sound all that enthusiastic."

"I am," Angela said. "Just ... bad dream kind of wrecked my mood for the day." She sprayed the counter down with Lysol viciously. "But I'm very into the whole voting thing."

"You too?" Rory asked, her eyes wide. "Bad dream, I mean? Luke and Anakin both had really intense nightmares Wednesday night."

"Really?" Angela said. "Weird. Mine was this afternoon. It wasn't that weird, it was a lot like dreams I've had before, but it was just really upsetting, you know?"

"What did Luke and Anakin dream about?"

"It could be," Angela said slowly. "Mine was about ... I guess, being ignored? Being ordinary and alone. Kind of normal bad dream stuff, just intense."

She nodded. "Anakin's were so bad he couldn't get back to sleep," she said quietly.

"I was just napping, so I didn't even try to get up," Angela said. "Tori helped calm me down. She's sweet."

"Poor Anakin, though. If his was worse than mine, it must have been really bad."

Rory shrugged. "Wish it'd stop, though. My dreams are bad enough on a regular basis without worrying that something's going to mess with them."
