Creative Writing, Period 3, 4/4/07

Yuki is looking at his laptop with a murderous stare. He’s actually shaking it violently. And cursing wildly in Japanese at its blank screen. Those of the students who can understand Japanese might be finding his outbursts more than a little offensive. It’s fairly obvious that he lost a good amount of writing due to a computer crash, 30 pages to be exact.

After he notices that class is starting, he turns a sadistic grin at his class. “Well. I decided you all deserve more work. You’re all much too lazy. So on top of the 10 pages by the last class, by next week I want you to find a poem and analyze it. I don’t care about what poem it is, but you better have a page of analysis. Front and back of a sheet of paper. No typing. Computers can burn in the fiery hell they came from.”

There’s actually a few computers at the back of the room that Yuki gives a dirty stare at. “You can use the FILTH at the back of the room to find your poem and start right now. But I don’t want to hear any whining. One word about how this isn’t fair and I’ll toss the speaker straight into detention. Is that clear? Life’s not fair. Get used to it.”

He sits down heavily and looks ready to choke his laptop, if that were possible.

((Late like a late thing. Uh... it's really because I had NO clue what to do for this class to make it semi exciting... my apologies!))

Turtle may have slipped something to Yuki by the end of class. It was an ad for disks and zip files for great, low prices at Turtle & Canary.

Why she had it with her was anyone's guess.
