Extraterrestrial Civilizations - Class 12 [4/4, Period 4]

When students arrived for class that day, they would find that desks had been replaced with seats at a long table that was filled with all sorts of . . . interesting food, such as Plomeek soup, Felada onion crisp, Laurelian pudding, Jumbo Romulan mollusk, Rokeg blood pie, and Ktarian chocolate puff, as well as drinks like Traggle nectar and Slug-o-Cola.

"An important part of extraterrestrial civilizations is, of course, their foods," Ellie said. "So today we have a little treat." Her tone was a little dubious as she eyed some of the food that seemed to be . . . moving. "We've got all kinds of foods from all sorts of non-earth cultures. Try as much as you'd like. Be brave, you might surprise yourself with what you enjoy."

Naomi had some of the Ktarian chocolate puff and the Traggle nectar. It almost made her feel like she was back home again and this definitely made her feel happy.

The chocolate puff was definitely appealing, though.

Isobel made a face. Why was she wasting her time here? And yet, she knew her host was overly conscientious about attending class. So she tried some of the foods and waited for the time to be up.

Chad was trying everything and just trying to pretend like he wasn't there. Nope. No one pay attention to the big giant Mexican. Please. Really. Desperately trying to not draw any attention to himself. Especially from Naomi.

Z made a beeline for the chocolate puff thing, while being sure to stay as far as possible away from the blood pie. "Looks like something Piggy would eat," she muttered under her breath.

Food! Clearly, the best class so far.

Normally Stark tried a bit of everything. Today he thought he'd leave some of it to others, since some of the foods were frightening and he wasn't sure even Rygel and his three stomachs would touch them.

The chocolate though? He was all over the chocolate.
And...was that a food cube? He had to make sure. Unfortunately, it was.
