Having missed his usual shift last Thursday due to a sudden case of girl, Bridge arrives at the library right after DAMM class.

"...I have to make some too," she said, making a face. "Why do I guess that's where the smell comes from?"

"Oh," Bridge says, wrinkling his nose. "Yeah, that'd be it."

She sighed. "Ick. I wonder if he'd notice if I didn't do it. He's kinda crazy. He might forget."

Bridge giggles at that. "I've got some left over from class?" he offers.

"I'll never spill the secret and make you hot chocolate?" she replied, hopefully.

"It's a deal," Bridge says with a nod.

Katara bounced a lot and would have hugged Bridge but there was a counter in the way. "Thank you!"

"You're welcome," Bridge says, grinning widely. "I'm always happy to help out a friend."

"I'm really, really glad to be back. I missed all of you so much."

"We missed you too," Bridge says. "School without a Katara in it just isn't the same."

She blushed a bit and ducked her head. "But it stayed in one piece! Even if it is a bit damp."
